The state of Democracy in the state of Goa can be gauges by the fact that, the person who has a fiduciary duty to uphold the democracy and Constitution, in the state; calls the collective opposition as “Maggots”.
This is Ramesh Tawadkar, the BJP MLA from Canacona; who is much maligned and criticised , for acting in a partial manner, in every Assembly Session.
What he basically means, is that, any citizen of the State of Goa, who does not agrees to the policies, statements and policies of BJP ruled state, is basically a “Maggot”.
